We offer dental solutions focusing around total health and wellness. To us, you are not just a set of teeth. You are an entire, complex system, connected throughout. Our philosophy, our belief-every patient can have a healthy mouth. The mouth is the gateway to the body. What happens in your mouth, happens to your entire body.
Our dentistry begins with our relationship. We want to be more than your dentist or your hygienist. We want to be part of your healthcare team. We believe it is your body, and at all times, your choices. Our job is to facilitate education, thorough diagnosis and outline solutions to help you travel on your dental journey-your way. To honor this commitment to you, we begin with a very thorough understanding of where you are today and where you would like to be in your dental future.
We take the road less traveled. Dr. Shoup is one of only a handful of dentists in the United States to practice microscope based biomimetic and adhesive dentistry. Likewise, he is in an elite group of highly skilled dentists who number less than 10 that have a Master Fellowship in microscope dentistry. What this means to you, our patient, is you will receive the absolute most conservative dentistry possible. And you can count on that dentistry being pristine, precise, accurate, esthetically pleasing, fully functional and long lasting.
Dr. Shoup travels the globe serving in many capacities to educate, integrate, teach and share the gospel of microscope dentistry. It is our passion. It is very simple: when you can see better-you do better.
Our hygiene department focus on the health of your gums as well as your teeth, following the Bale and Doneen protocols for periodontal therapies as well as the recommendations of the American Academy of Periodontology. The plaque that is harvested from hearts/brains is the same exact plaque that is found in the mouth. There’s only one way it can get there….through your blood stream. Periodontal disease is a direct contributor to heart attacks, strokes, dementia, Alzheimer’s, diabetes…the list goes on! A teeth cleaning is not just a teeth cleaning-it is an essential part of your oral health and your overall health. Remember, everything is connected!
